Two Korean Businessmen Honored Permanent Residence in Central China City
Two businessmen from the Republic of Korea were honored permanent residency rights in this capital of central China's Hunan Province for their outstanding contributions to the city's economic construction.
I1 Man Jeong, vice-chairman and CEO of the LG Sea Kwang Electric Co. Ltd, and Pyong Tae Hong, the former vice-chairman and CEO of the company in Changsha, were conferred the honor, receiving certificates and permanent residence papers Tuesday.
When Pyong Tae Hong was in office in 1997 and 1998, the company 's tax turnover exceeded 100 million yuan. Jeong further boosted the business to add 310 million yuan to tax revenues in 1999.
