HK's Secretary for Justice to Visit London

Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong Administrative Region (HKSAR), Elsie Leung, will pay a visit to Britain from February 28 to March 5.

According to a government press release reaching Friday, Leung will call on British officials, such as Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office John Battle.

She will also meet with members of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Hong Kong Committee of All Party China Parliamentary Group.

Leung will attend the "World Women Lawyers Conference" organized by the International Bar Association on March 1 and 2 and will speak at a discussion session on "Women's Rights as Human Rights."

She will also address the Oxford University Asia Pacific Society on the continuity of Hong Kong's legal system.

Leung will take the opportunity to meet with members of the Bar Council and the Law Society.

The secretary will return to Hong Kong on March 5.
