85% Motorcycles Up to Standard
The State Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau recently published the sample survey result of motorcycle quality conducted in the fourth quarter of last year. Some 28 out of the 33 types of two-wheeled motorcycle checked this time are up to standard.
The result shows that the quality of motorcycles is quite good in general and braking, oil consuming, swerving and some other performance can basically meet the requirement of the State standard in terms of safety, environmental protection and energy saving.
Some problems were also discovered in this check. For example: the accelerating noise and the performance of the front spotlight of some motorcycles fail to meet the requirement of State standard; quality of engine parts is quite different and their reliability is low; the products of some assembling factories built up in a blind way in some areas lack security and comfort.
