Qinghua Establishes Anti-Cult Association

A student anti-cult association was established Thursday in China's prestigious Qinghua University, where nearly 10,000 students signed their names on a scroll to denounce the Falun Gong cult.

Wang Haoliang, a student member of the association, said the association will participate in activities to protect human rights and fight against vicious cults, as well as help maintain social stability and ensure the implementation of laws.

The scroll will be sent to the Commission on Human Rights of the United Nations as part of a one-million-people-signature activity, said Wang.

Chinese university students are hostile to the vicious Falun Gong cult, and many universities, including Beijing Normal University, have established student organizations to combat cults.
