China Commends Model Procuratorates
The Supreme People's Procuratorate commended ten "model procuratorates" and 140 "procuratorates the people are satisfied with" Tuesday.
These procuratorates were cited for their commitment to the law and their efforts in law enforcement.
Luo Gan, secretary of the Central Political Science and Law Committee under the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, expressed congratulations to those commended.
Luo said prosecutors should uphold the interests of the people and vigorously enforce their duty in providing judicial guarantees and services.
Such awards should be encouraged to improve the political and ideological level of prosecutors and help them better serve the people, he said.
