Symposium Held on Coops Between Israel and Yunnan

Business people from Israel and China's Yunnan Province gathered at a symposium Tuesday in Yunnan to jointly find ways to further boost economic and trade cooperation.

Delegates from nearly 30 enterprises on both sides participated in the symposium, jointly sponsored by the Israeli Embassy and the Foreign Economic and Trade Office of Yunnan Province.

It is learned that Israel and Yunnan have conducted fruitful cooperation in recent years in the agricultural and horticultural field, as shown by an increase of economic volume from US$6 million in 1996 to last year's US$10 million.
