Top CPPCC Leaders Meet
The chairman and vice chairmen of the Ninth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held their 27th meeting Tuesday.
Chairman
Li Ruihuan
presided over the meeting which was focused on the issues of personnel and preparations for the coming Fourth Session of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee, which is due to open early next month.
The meeting passed draft resolutions on the appointments of several new members of the CPPCC National Committee and vice chairmen of special committees under the CPPCC National Committee.
The meeting also appointed executive chairpersons of the coming annual session of the CPPCC National Committee and accepted the resignation of Wang Feng as member of the CPPCC National Committee.
