Yunnan Police Confiscate 190 kg of Heroin

Border guards in southwest China's Yunnan Province have cracked a major drug-trafficking case, confiscating 190 kg of heroin.

On the afternoon of February 13, two guards, Sun Guohua and Wei Decai, from the Mukang Frontier Station found while making routine checks that the driver of a truck loaded with white sugar had a list of cargo other than white sugar. Questioned by the soldiers, the driver was so nervous as to perspire all over on his head. Then he simply refused to answer questions.

So, the soldiers conducted a thorough check of the truck, ferreting out 255 pieces of heroin weighing a total of 190 kg hidden in white sugar bags.

On the same day, soldiers from the Mukang Frontier Station also cracked three drug-trafficking cases, confiscating 2,162 grams of heroin, 33 grams of the "ice" drug and arresting four suspects.
