Okinawa Police Arrest U.S. Marine on Suspicion of Arson

Japanese Okinawa police on Monday arrested a U.S. Marine on suspicion of committing a series of arsons in the prefecture in mid-January.

Lance Cpl. Kurt Billie is suspected of entering a restaurant in a bar area of the town of Chatan on Jan. 20 and setting fire to it with a lighter, police sources said, adding he is also alleged to have caused the partial or total destruction by fire of five stores.
