China to Further Explore Nigerian Market: Delegation

China is willing to further explore Nigeria's market, which has become one of the largest in Africa, said a visiting Chinese business delegation Monday.

Addressing members of Nigeria's organized private sector at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Guo Shichang, head of the 15-member Hebei Economic Trade Delegation, said Chinese businessmen are interested in exploring Nigeria's market.

Guo, also Vice Governor of Hebei Province in north China, said his delegation would like to seek investment opportunities in Nigeria. Both countries have a lot to gain from each other, he stressed.

Chinese businessmen are determined to enhance cooperation with their Nigerian counterparts especially in the fields of pure water supply, oil refinery, manufacturing of glasses and cement, agricultural machinery and construction and textile industries, he said.
