The Chinese state councilor said that Hungary is a major country in central and eastern Europe. China pays great attention to its trade ties and economic cooperation with Hungary, China's largest trade partner in the region, she said. The establishment of a long-term and stable cooperative relationship between China and Hungary conforms to the interests of both countries, Wu said. Hungary is the second leg of Wu's 18-day five-nation European tour, which has already taken her to Slovakia. From Hungary, she will travel to Croatia, Slovenia and Romania.
