India, Bangladesh Discuss Trans-Border Crimes

India and Bangladesh on Thursday held here in-depth talks to check trans-border crimes, illegal migration and other security related issues, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.

The seventh meeting of the Indo-Bangladeshi Joint Working Group also discussed border incidents and held parleys on a new visa agreement.

The Indian side at the three-day meeting was led by G.K. Pillai, joint secretary in the Home Ministry, while the Bangladeshi delegation was headed by Mohd Janibul Haque.

The meeting also confirmed the agreed minutes of the sixth meeting of the joint working group, the PTI quoted official sources as saying.
