During the visit, Putin and his Vietnamese hosts will exchange views on the bilateral relations and other issues of mutual concern, she noted.

The Vietnamese spokeswoman also announced that at the invitation of Vietnamese Foreign Minister Nguyen Dy Nien, Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque will pay an official visit to Vietnam from February 22 to 25.

This is the first visit to Vietnam by Roque in his capacity as the Cuban foreign minister.

The visit is aimed at further promoting the ongoing fine and traditional relationship between Vietnam and Cuba.

The two foreign ministers will exchange views on the relations between the two countries, as well as other international and regional issues of mutual concern.
