CPPCC Vice-Chariman Meets European Chinese Delegation
Luo Haocai, vice-chairman of the National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met Thursday with a visiting delegation of Overseas Chinese Associations in Europe.
During the meeting, Luo expressed welcome to the delegation and he spoke highly of the efforts of the members of the delegation for promoting China's reunification and construction.
Luo also hosted a banquet for the delegation, which arrived here Wednesday.
Consisting of deputies of major Chinese associations in European countries, the delegation will visit the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Region after it concluded its visit in China's inland areas.
Zhu Xun, chairman of the Subcommittee for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Compatriots and Overseas Chinese of CPPCC, and Zhou Mingwei, deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council attended the meeting.
