Great Market Potential for Packaged Air Conditioners

According to latest statistics, packaged air conditioners seized 21 percent of the Shanghai market last year, marking an increase of 5 percent over 1999.

  Although the split type air conditioners occupy over 70 percent of Shanghai market, great market potential still lies ahead for packaged air conditioners, experts say. 

The constant improvement of housing conditions and power supplyas well as the forthcoming possible reduction in prices, will makethe packaged air conditioners become the choice for more and more Shanghai consumers. 

On average, there are currently over 80 air conditioners forevery 100 households in Shanghai, and the number is on the increase. 

The season for air conditioners will soon come as the weather becomes warmer.
