Governmental Website on Western Development Launched
A bilingual governmental website focusing on development of China's vast western areas was launched Wednesday.
Established by the Office of the Leading Group for Western Region Development of the State Council, the website (www. chinawest.gov.cn or www.westchina.gov.cn) aims to disseminate information, in both Chinese and English, on policies and measures by the central and local governments as well as on demand for capital and talents by the western region.
The website is expected to play an active role in helping people both at home and abroad closely follow the process of development of China's western region and explore various cooperation opportunities.
