Two-Legged Calf Born in Guangxi
A two-legged calf was born in Pingchengtang village, Songshan town, Rongxian County, south China's
Guangxi
Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Viewed from the calf's appearance, other parts of it are normal except that it does not have rear legs. The calf weighed 25 kilograms 4 days after its birth.
The cow giving birth to the calf has been raised for ten-plus years by farmer Xia Liji. It is healthy, strong and never gets sick. The six calves born by the cow previously are quite normal.
Experts share the view that the queer phenomenon is probably due to chromosome variation.
