More than 1,000 tourism specialists and workers from both sides of the Taiwan Straits Tuesday gathered in Changsha, capital of this central Chinese province of Hunan, to discuss cooperation and exchange in tourism industry.

The meeting, the fourth of its kind, was jointly sponsored by six tourism organizations from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.

The first three meetings were convened in Wuhan, Zhengzhou and Chongqing, respectively.

Before the meeting, the participants visited such scenic sites as Zhangjiajie and Taohuayuan in Hunan.
