Five Cities to Hold International Education Exhibition

The 2001 International Higher Education Exhibition will be held from February 17 to March 4 in the five cities of Beijing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Xi'an and Chengdu.

This is the third international education exhibition hosted by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange.

An official from the center said Tuesday that the 2001 International Higher Education Exhibition will help promote Sino- foreign education exchange and establish stable cooperation relations between Chinese and foreign education organizations.

Over 160 universities and educational organizations from 22 countries and regions including the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Canada, Australia and New Zealand will participate in the exhibition.

Some overseas state-level educational organizations such as the International Education Board of Ireland (IEBI) and the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education will also join the exhibition.

The Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange will provide an on-the-spot consultation service for visitors.
