SZSE to Begin Annual Inspection

Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) has set to start the annual inspection of its members for the year 2000.

SZSE has paid attention to regulation and services of its members all along. Annual inspection is a major link in its regulation of the members.

It will tighten scrutiny of the annual reports of its members by checking up their financial positions and related financial indicators and analyzing the possible risks to find out the members for major monitoring.

It will also examine its members in business development, internal control and implementation of laws of regulations.

The members are required to summit inspection documents both in writing and electronic form. To facilitate the members, SZSE will put all the requirement and relevant forms online.

According a senior official with SZSE, it will review the documents and select some members for on-the-spot examination. After that, it will circulate a notice of the inspection results to its members and report to China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) in the meantime.

The official reiterated trueness, completeness and accuracy of the documents submitted by the members. Any members violating the requirement will be punished according to SZSE's management rules for its members.

The inspection is scheduled to close by the end of this June.
