SSE Maps out Task for 2001

The newly closed seventh meeting of the third board of supervisors of Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) passed SSE's work plan for 2001 and set out eight tasks for the year.

The eight tasks include: first, implement and promote the reform and development measures according to the requirement of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC); second, establish a management mechanism for technical system security and attach great importance to risk control; third, explore new regulatory approaches, increase market transparency and improve regulatory level; fourth, pay great attention to technical system construction, sharpen SSE's technical edge and make it SSE's core competitiveness in the future development; fifth, integrate service system, further improve market services and form service advantage gradually; sixth, upgrade core business and intensify strategic plan while press ahead with research; seventh, improve rules and regulations for internal control and strengthen establishment of internal control mechanism while set up training of staff and raise the their overall quality; and eighth, deepen ideological work.
