Heavy Snow Affects Central China's Transport
Heavy snow on Sunday in Central China's
Henan
Province caused the closure of highways and delays of air flights.
The heavy snowfall was the fourth since January. Xinzheng International Airport in Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, was closed from 5 pm Sunday until this morning. However, the bad weather had little effect on railway transport.
Local meteorologists commented that it is normal to experience cold weather and snowfalls during this period as it is still winter in February in north China.
