Town of Science and Technology to Open in Shanghai
The Town of Science and Technology in
Shanghai
in east China will open to public in late March.
The project is entering its final phase where exhibits are arranged and adjusted.
Costing 1.5 billion yuan, the town in its first phase consists of earth crust exploration, journey through the rain forest, children's center and a solid cinema able to accommodate some 500 people.
In the entrance hall are some of the greatest inventions in China's history like those describing the celestial globe or predicting forthcoming earthquakes.
