China and Qatar End 1 to 1 in King's Cup
The Chinese and Qatar soccer teams played to a 1-1 draw in the first match of the 32nd King's Cup football tournament in Bankok Saturday afternoon.

Bora Milutinovic, China's head coach, said he is satisfied with the result, given that the Qatar team seized more chances in the game, which is staged in the Bangkok's Suphachalasai Stadium.

"What my players should do now is to make good preparations for the next match, " he said at a press conference after the game.

Saying that the Qatar is a "fairly good team with strong ability", the Chinese head coach said he hoped his players can make a good recall of the whole match and think what they gained and lost in today's game.

His Qatar counterpart Dzemal Hadziabdic also expressed content towards his team's performance.

"The Chinese team is a strong force in Asia, and has won lots of victories in the games held in the Southeast Asia.

He also said that today's result may be disappointing to Chinese team, because "they had two or three perfect chances in the second half to reclaim their lead."

Chinese player Su Maozheng opened the scoring at the 6th minute of the first half, after receiving a good corner kick from his teammate Shen Si.

However, the Qatar team made more attempts to open the Chinese goal during the second half. They seized a chance when the Chinese goalkeeper Jiang Jin slipped the ball out of his hand.

During another match held later today, the Swedish team crashed Thailand 4-1.
