Tibetans Rally to Condemn Falun Gong Cult

Some 20,000 Tibetans Saturday rallied in the Potala Palace square spontaneously and attended a signing activity rejecting the Falun Gong cult.

After the news spread that Falun Gong practitioners set themselves ablaze in Tian'anmen Square, people across the country strongly condemned the evil cult and called for protection of human rights.

A primary school boy said he first learned about Falun Gong in school last year.

Upon seeing Liu Siying, a girl of his age, on television crying desperately for her mother after burning herself, the 12-year-old boy said he hoped the cult will never contaminate schools.

People's liberation Army soldiers stationed in Tibet and local farmers and herdsmen also attended the signing ceremony.
