On sale: Haier Promotes Intelligent PCsHaier Group Co, No 1 home appliances manufacturer in China, is gearing up to take more shares from home PC market with the introduce of a new market program, according to company sources Wednesday.Under the program, Haier will market its intelligent home PC, HDP-2805, at a discounted price of 9,998 yuan (US$1,200) during February 5 to 28 throughout the country. PC HDP-2805, the country's first home PC with CPU clock speed of 1GHz, was put on the market on November 11 last year. It offers enormous data processing capacity for multi-tasking computation. "Our intelligent home PCs are selling well," said an official from Haier. "So much so that we have to speed up our production." Haier sold more than 20,000 PCs in China last year.
