Reception Marks 30th Anniversary of Sino-Nigerian TiesThe Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) held a reception here Friday to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Nigeria.Speaking at the occasion, CPAFFC's Vice President Su Guang said that the friendly cooperation between China and Nigeria has been developing on the basis of the five principles of peaceful co- existence since the two countries forged diplomatic relations. Nigeria has become a major trade and economic partner of China in Africa, Su said. China and Nigeria, two populous countries in the world, have supported each other in bilateral and international issues, he said. Nigerian Ambassador to China Olagunju Adesakin said that the two countries have supported each other and the bilateral ties have been further strengthened during the past three decades. He noted that the two sides have maintained high-level visits and the bilateral cooperation in various areas has been satisfactory.
