China Draws India 1-1 in Davis Cup
Following are the results of the first two singles between China and India in a Group A match in Davis Cup Asian-Oceania zone Friday in Langfang, Hebei province:
First single: India led 1-0
Leander Paes, India, bt Wang Yu, China, 4-6, 6-0, 6-0, 6-4;
Second single: China drew India 1-1
Zhang Yu, China, bt Syzaluddin Syed, India, 6-4,6-1,6-0.
The doubles will be held Saturday morning between China's Yang Jingzhu/Xu Ran and Indian Leander Paes/Mahesh Bhupathi.
