US Company Offers Free Grass Seed to China's Large Cow-Raising County
Barenbrug Group USA, world's largest grass and grass seed supplier, recently signed a contract with Mengcheng County in east China's Anhui Province to provide grass seeds free of charge.
The company made the decision upon learning that a popular Chinese comic dialogue actor Niu Qun, whose surname means "cow" in English, has been invited as deputy head of the county, which has China's largest number in cow rasing.
Whether Niu has the very ability to take the leadership of the county once aroused heated discussion. However, Niu obviously attracted quite a few business projects due to his "star effect."
Despite the fact that people in Mengcheng County have yet to enjoy a western-style dinner, cows here began to have "western" food. the laughing star said.
