Mainland Reporters Leave for Taiwan for Routine News Coverage
Two correspondents from China's mainland left Beijing Thursday for Taiwan for routine news reporting.

Fan Liqing (female) and Chen Binhua, both from the Xinhua News Agency, are the first group of mainland correspondents assigned to the island province for a set period of time for routine news reporting. They are flying to Hong Kong on flight CA 101, and then taking another flight to Taiwan.

They are scheduled to arrive in Taipei late Thursday.
