Oracle VentureNetwork Launched in HK
Oracle Corp., the world's largest provider of software for e-business, announced Wednesday the global availability of Oracle VentureNetwork, an online community created for emerging technology entrepreneurs.
Oracle VentureNetwork provides entrepreneurs with access to one global source of information and resources to help them develop and grow their ideas into business quickly, said Jeremy Burton, senior vice president, Worldwide Marketing of Oracle Corp.
The online community also offers an unprecedented forum for entrepreneurs to share and exchange ideas and obtain access to specialist services and products, allowing these visionaries to focus their limited sources on building and running their businesses.
Advantages of Oracle VentureNetwork include private access to investor organizations, and review of business plan for entrepreneurs who build their business plan online using the free tools offered on Oracle VentureNetwork.
Once submitted online, a community of investors is able to quickly review the plan and respond, offering entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive feedback and the funding necessary to get their business up and running.
Oracle VentureNetwork is the fourth community fostered by Oracle Corp. Other communities include Oracle Technology Network, Oracle AppsNet and the E-Business Network.
