No Recognition for Four Foreign Diplomas in China

According to Hu Benwei, a student adviser of the International Cooperation Department in the Service Center for Studies Abroad of the Ministry of Education, the following four types of foreign diplomas are not recognized in China:

A. Certificate acquired through completing courses like remedial instruction of foreign languages and other irregular training such as short-term training in advanced studies;

B. Certificate for research experiences of the people who attended in advanced studies or worked as visiting scholars;

C. Certificate granted by any jointly-run schools in any forms;

D. Foreign educational records got through studies by correspondence.
