APEC Senior Official Meeting to Be Held in Beijing

The first Senior Official Meeting (SOM I) and related meetings of the 13th Ministerial Conference of APEC will be held in Beijing from February 11 through 19.

The meeting will be presided over by Chinese vice-foreign minister and Chairman of SOM I Wang Guangya, and will be attended by senior officials from the 21 APEC member economies.

This was announced by foreign ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi at the regular press conference Tuesday.
