Pandas at Mexico City's Chapultepec Zoo

Ling-Ling is on loan to Chapultepec in the hope he will mate with the three females and bolster the endangered species' numbers.

Ling Ling's Trip to Mexico City

Ling Ling, , a 15-year-old male giant panda born through artificial fertilization in the Beijing Zoo, will be on loan to the Chapultepec Zoo in Mexico City for three months in an attempt to breed the mammal. Ueno zoo keepers feed sugar cane to him as the panda is loaded on a truck to leave for Narita airport in front of the zoo in downtown Tokyo Monday.

100,000 May Have Died in Indian Quake
