Vice-Premier Li Lanqing Extends Spring Festival Greetings
On the eve of the Chinese lunar New Year, Vice-Premier Li Lanqing called on and extended greetings to the armed police and public security police as well as journalists who are working during the holiday in Beijing.
Li, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, extended Spring Festival greetings to the armed policemen, public security policemen and journalists while visiting the local public police bureau, armed police garrison, China National Radio, China Central Television and China Radio International Tuesday.
Li expressed his gratitude to them for their contribution and achievements in public security, anti-criminal campaigns and press publicity.
The Spring Festival, which falls on January 24 this year, is the most important holiday for Chinese.
