Wenzhou is Heading for a Digitized City

The first phase of Wenzhou Digitized City, also dubbed as "Silicon Valley of South Zhejiang", was formally unveiled on January 16.

The construction of the city shows that Wenzhou is determined to get its government, enterprises and families geared up in an all-round way with high and new technology.

With high-tech industry as the bridgehead, the digitized city to be, renowned for its economic mode of private ownership, will help upgrade and renovate its traditional industries by making full use of the information industry, the Internet, software industry and technological advantages.

The first phase of the city construction will involve a total investment of over 10 million yuan for the establishment of "one center and three projects", namely, the technological property trading center and the networking projects of governments, enterprises and families.

So far, many renowned transnational and domestic high-tech enterprises have entered the digitized city to be and the "Silicon Valley of South Zhejiang" has by and large come into shape.
