Chinese Vice-President Hu Jintao returned to Beijing Saturday morning after winding up an official visit to Iran, Syria, Jordan, Cyprus and Uganda.

Also back aboard the same plane were Hu's entourage, including his wife Liu Yongqing, Vice-Foreign Minister Ji Peiding, Deputy Director of the General Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Jiang Yikang, Vice Minister in charge of the State Development Planning Commission Wang Yang, Vice-Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Sun Guangxiang, Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office of CPC Central Committee He Yiting, and Governor of the Export-Import Bank of China Yang Zilin.

Vice-Premier Qian Qichen and diplomatic envoys from the five countries greeted Hu at the Great Hall of the People.
