Chinese Vice President Concludes Visit to UgandaChinese Vice President Hu Jintao Friday afternoon left Kampala for Beijing after ending his three-day official visit to Uganda.During his stay in Uganda, Hu held talks with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, Vice President Speciosa Kazibwe and Prime Minister Apolo Nsibambi and exchanged views on bilateral relations and issues of common interest. The two sides signed the agreements on trade, economic and technological cooperation, and remittal of partial debt of Uganda. Another two documents relating to China's donation to research into Ebola disease and oil exploitation in Uganda were also signed. Hu's entourage included Vice Foreign Minister Ji Peiding, Vice Minister in Charge of State Development Planning Commission Wang Yang, and Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Sun Guangxiang. Before his visit to Uganda, Hu also paid official visit to Iran, Syria, Jordan and Cyprus.
