Australia Issues Stamps of the Year of Snake
A set of commemorative stamps of the Year of snake were issued by
Australia
n post authorities prior to the advent of the Chinese Lunar New Year's Day which falls on Jan.24 this year.
The stamp and minisheet were designed by Luis Chiang. The minisheet carries a painting depicting the popular Chinese folk-tale of White Snake and her love story.
Australia has issued several sets of stamps of this kind in the past few years.
