Financial Institutions Support Chinese Enterprises to List in US
The
Guangdong
Development Bank (GDB)
Beijing
Branch signed a cooperation agreement with the Benchmark Global Capital Group (BGCG) of the US in Beijing on January 16 and established alliance with the US Hewlett-Packard Company and an accountant office to facilitate Chinese enterprises' listing in NASDAQ.
According to caretaker of GDB, only security companies approved by US National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) can deal with securities and financing in the US, and it was through these companies and agencies like BGCG a number of Chinese companies went public on NASDAQ in the US.
But intermediaries and agencies invariably wreaked greater expense and more time. For BGCG now has its office in Beijing Chinese enterprises will be helped directly to list in the US through its consignment.
GDB-BCGC cooperation will be in a way as is generally recognized to complement each other with their advantages and for one is a commercial bank and the other an investment bank Chinese enterprises will be in a better position to directly find financial support from the two.
