Pakistan Makes Quick Reaction to India's Test Firing of Missile

After India's test firing of its Agni-II ba11istic missile on Wednesday, Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a quick reaction, saying that it was a part of India's nuclear ambitions which poses a direct threat to Pakistan's security.

A press release reaching here said, the test firing conducted by India has been a part of its nuclear and missile program, which have a destabilizing effect on both Pakistan and the South Asia region. This matter is of great concern for the international community.

The Pakistani government reiterated its proposal to India that the two countries should agree to a Strategic Restraint Regime in order to promote nuclear and conventional stability in South Asia, it said.
