Vietnam Celebrates 51st Anniversary of Sino-Vietnamese Ties

The Vietnam-China Friendship Association (VCFA) gave a reception in Haino Wednesday, celebrating the 51st anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

VCFA President Nguyen Canh Dinh said he believed that cooperation and mutual help between the governments and peoples of the two countries would undergo even stronger development in the new century.

Dinh also wished to see the traditional friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two peoples bloom forever.

Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Qi Jianguo said that China is willing to work with Vietnam in strengthening solidarity, promoting cooperation and creating a better future for the friendly relations between the two countries.

Among those attending were Acting President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Vu Xuan Hong, and Chinese diplomats.
