3DDS Marches Into Internet Market in South China

3DDS, known as the new generation broadband Internet technology at the top of the world level and with independent intellectual property rights of China, has lately been put into use in Shenzhen.

As agreed, Beijing Keval Online Technology Development Ltd. (http://www.3dds.com) and Shenzhen Telecom will from this year on have a joint promotion of the Internet technology in Shenzhen. According to He Yang, chairman of the board of directors of Keval Online, matters concerning cooperation have been brought up for discussion with subsidiaries of Guangdong Telecommunications, sectors of Broadcast and Film and Television, the governments at various levels and Internet operational companies.

Developed originally by experts from Keval Online and world-renowned IT companies including Oracle, Pace, Sun, Cisco, etc, 3DDS scored a great success in 2000. The system and equipment of this new technology have so far passed the appraisal and checkup of the Ministry of Information Industry of China. Meanwhile, Keval Online has also been granted the licenses of ISP, ICP, and access to the broadband business of telecommunications.

Actually, Keval Online has unfolded its development program in Asian market, after absorbing an investment of US $25 million from ACEWORLD of ROK not long ago. The 3DDS technology has caused widespread concerns among senior ROK governmental officials. In addition, Keval Online has also prepared for marching into the European market and Guangzhou will probably be its second "landing stage" in South China.

The 3DDS technology has provided China, a country not quite popularized with PCs with an opportunity to catch up the world in information technology.
