Coastal City to Hold 2001 APEC Investment Expo.

The 2001 Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Investment Exposition will be held from June 9 through 15 in the coastal city of Yantai in east China's Shandong province.

With the theme "Investing in Asia-Pacific and Investing in the Future", the exposition is to provide a forum for all the APEC members to elaborate their investment policies and display their commercial environment.

The exposition will consist of four parts, including a policy-informing meeting, a senior forum for entrepreneurs, a show on investment opportunities, and a platform for negotiating specific investment cooperation projects.

Yantai, boasting a strong industrial background and a beautiful scenery, had hosted the Second APEC International Trade Exhibition.
