Ericsson to Donate for Tibetan Antelope Protection
Ericsson (China) Company and Hoh Xil National Nature Reserve in Qinghai Province have signed a donation agreement of 1 million yuan (about US$120,000) and eight cross-country jeeps for the protection of Tibetan antelope there.
Ericsson made the decision after hearing that outdated facilities, lack of infrastructure and funds, and low income of the working staff there made it more difficult to protect the animal which is under the first-class national protection.
This has been the largest donation to the reserve so far. Besides, Ericsson managing personnel promised an annual donation of 500,000 yuan starting from this year to the reserve.
