Striker Yu Genwei to Play in Uruguay
Chinese football star Yu Genwei is to be leased to a Uruguay club, according to sources from Tianjin Taida Football Club on January 10.
Since the end of last season, Yu, the top scorer of Tianjin Taida has been engaged in an active preparation for his move to the South America. He also went on a trial tour there in person. Some said that so far two soccer clubs in Uruguay are riveting their eyes on Yu in a transport of their wishes for taking the top player over.
"The lease will help benefit Yu's personal interest," said Meng Qun, General Manager of Tianjin Taida Club. The fall of the former is a warning for the latter. Should the conditions be not ripe, a haste transfer might lead to an unhappy trouble and make the Chinese player suffer.
