New Aspiration Party Accepts Invitation to Join Next Thai Government
Thailand's New Aspiration Party has been invited to join the next coalition government led by the Thai Rak Thai Party ("Thai Loves Thai") party, party sources said in Bangkon Thursday.
Wan Muhammad Nor Matha, deputy leader of the New Aspiration Party announced at a press conference this morning that his party has accepted the invitation from Thai Rak Thai, which won a landslide victory in Saturday's general election.
According the latest unofficial tally, the Thai Rak Thai Party will dominate the next parliament with 254 of total 500 seats, while the New Aspiration said to hold 34.
