Movie "Whampoa Cadets" Closed Up

A movie historically tracing some important revolutionary events in contemporary China, "Whampoa Cadets" has been wound up lately. The movie is a joint work by Guangdong Huazhijie Movie & TV Company, China National Publication Imp. & Exp. Corporation and the publicity department of CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee.

Altogether 80 days had been used in producing the movie. Tens of thousands of people had been called to join in doing the movie some days just before last October 1, China's National Day. Moviemakers had resorted to digital stereo to have a wonderful sound effect produced.

Some senior generals and old cadets as alumni of Whampoa Military Academy (WMA) from New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Beijing had gathered in the Taiwan Hall of the Great Hall of the People for the movie's kick-off ceremony. When the movie was half done, many other WMA alumni from Guangzhou and Taiwan had also turned up on the scene and brought up some suggestions on their own.
