The minister said Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko had stated his country's intention to normalize relations with the US in his letter to the US president-elect. He noted that there should be no preconditions for the commencement of the dialogue between the two countries. "Belarus is ready to begin negotiations in order to state its vision for the problems that exist in bilateral relations," Khvostov said.
