Presidents of China's Administrative Colleges Meet in BeijingThe presidents of administrative colleges across China met Monday at a conference jointly heldby the Ministry of Personnel and the National School of Administration.Some 150 Participants from 48 administrative colleges and relevant departments will take this opportunity to exchange views on deepening educational reforms in China's administrative colleges and providing better training programs for public servants. Wang Zhongyu, state councilor and secretary-general of the State Council, said at today's opening ceremony that China's administrative colleges are to meet changing requirements for China's public servants with up to date teaching methods and practical curricula. Wang, also president of the State Administrative College, called for greater efforts to enhance the quality of China's public servants in line with President Jiang Zemin's instructions on party building. |
